ToR for M&E Officer
The role:
Project M&E Officer will be based in Kunar province and will be responsible for the day-to-day project monitoring to verify project progress time to time including assessing and compiling PLW household registration, SBC sessions of the project beneficiaries, cash distribution, assisting in PDM and coordination with stakeholders. He/she will be responsible for collecting data and designing tools to ensure the project activities are carried out smoothly and all challenges and risks are identified and appropriate measures are taken. He will monitor the project activities in daily and weekly basis and will ensure that activities are not falling behind of the work plan. The Project M&E Officer will work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and technical supervision of M&E Manager. The core objective for the position is to support the APWDO Management in result-based M&E to monitor and evaluate project results and impacts and promote accountability for resource use; and to document, provide feedback on, and disseminate lessons learned and to provide a basis for decision making.
Key Responsiblities:
- Supervise the project team in collecting data regarding beneficiary selection.
- Assist Enumerators in resolving technical issues with KOBO and Tablets.
- Ensures the project activities are carried out smoothly and all challenges and risks are identified and appropriate measures are taken
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly M&E reports.
- Travel to the project locations and monitor the cash distribution process.
- Collect beneficiary feedback and meet with other stakeholders to acquire data for M&E purpose
- Develop M&E plans, frameworks, standards, and reports based on the UNICEF and APWDO guidelines
- Meet with the program beneficiaries and stakeholders and record complaints, feedback and recommendations
- Ensure that the goals, objectives, outcomes, and results are achieved based on the M&E plans
- Set initial, mid-term, and end term project indicators
- Keep close contact with the field staff and collect progress made
- Identify risks, issues, and concerns in the project areas and propose immediate solutions and measures
- Participate weekly meeting or relevant training when requested.
- Taking photos/videos clips of the beneficiaries during assessment when requested and with consent.
- Follow confidentiality and personal data protection to ensure respondents privacy is protected.
- Report to the Project Manager on daily and weekly basis
- Any other tasks delegates by the supervisors
